Linda B. White, M.D. received bachelors and masters degrees in biology from Stanford University and an MD from the University of California San Diego. She’s the author of many magazine articles on health, The Grandparent Book, and a college textbook entitled Health Now: An Integrative Approach to Personal Health (Flat World Knowledge, 2013). She contributed to two National Geographic books on natural health and coauthored Kids, Herbs, & Health; The Herbal Drugstore; and 500 Time-Tested Home Remedies and the Science Behind Them (Fair Winds Press, 2013). White, Barbara Brownell Grogan, and Barbara Seeber (her coauthors on 500 Time-Tested Home Remedies) write a weekly blog called “The Remedy Chicks” for EverydayHealth.Com. In addition, she developed many of the courses in the curriculum for the Integrative Therapies Program at Metropolitan State University, including the two herb classes, which she taught for a decade.
